2001-05 Honda Civic 1.7L

This kit is a complete bolt-in solution for the 2001-2005 Honda Civic 1.7L. It consists of a custom machined Delco CS130D Series case, with custom high amperage stator and rectifier, and an aftermarket Honda regulator. The result is a kit that bolts right in place of the stock unit. The kit includes the alternator, a longer drive belt, a custom adjustment bracket and a custom spacer.

The kit is available in 2 sizes, 180 amp and 200 amp. It is recommended that vehicles with automatic transmissions use the 180 amp version, as the smaller gauge wire used on the stator will allow for better charging at idle. Vehicles with standard transmissions have a slightly higher idle RPM and the 200 amp will be more suitable in this application.

The only modification required in order to make this alternator fit is to slightly grind the factory mounting bracket slightly, in order for the case to clear. This requires a minimal amount of work and can be completed with either a file or a powered grinder.

1993-2001 Honda Prelude 2.2L VTEC

This kit comes in two versions. For the first, we supply the new modified alternator mounting bracket. For the seocnd, you send us yours for modification.

On the 93-96 Prelude, you must require a new regulator plug-in.
